I saw the posting on that truck when I was looking, too. I wondered why that speaker grill was discolored.

I have to admit, I am somewhat amazed at the prices for the 94-96 F150s.

I just picked up a 95 XLT Ext Cab today and honestly, I kind of feel I overpaid for mine. I paid $4300, 166,000 miles, rebuilt auto trans, 302, 2WD. It drives good, though and all the electrics work. Overall, not bad shape.

I am getting the hood and roof painted and have to replace the dashpad, and windshield.

I looked around for a while and it seems like 1) the trucks are in need of quite a bit of work - heck, the are trucks, so I know they are used for work... or 2) you find them in really good shape and the prices are around $5K and higher.

That said, by the time I figure in my purchase price and set aside $1200 or so to fix it up, I will have only spent what I was going to use for a downpayment on a newer truck and I still won't have a monthly note. Overall, that is a win, I think.

A bit late to reply here but I have a Florida truck and my grilles looked the same way. Just the humidity gets to them I think. I just pulled mine out of the door panels (they're crimped on the back) and painted them black
