What actual technique and preparation did you use when you painted your trim?

Also when you said expensive, how much so are we talking?

Thanks Mike
I simply washed with dawn thoroughly, then wiped with rubbing alcohol on the areas to be painted a few times. Put several thin coats on, didn't want to sand the trim and ruin the texture. It has held up well. I used the paint from LMR as stated below, about $20 a can. It's worth it though, It matches well. Ill get a pic if I can, I don't have a smart phone and my Ipod is acting up.

I used two cans on my door panel also, so one for the seat trim is enough.
