I like how you used the truck bed to dry it on. I feel like I live in the North West right now, rain, ice, snow. I have stuff I want to work on an finish. This weather sucks, it was 32 yesterday with snow an 59 today with rain.

Yeah the bed worked perfectly and it's freakishly warm here so it almost completely dried yesterday. Supposed to be close to 85 today so it will be done by noon most likely. Then back to normal. I had a pretty tight window to get this stuff done. Today I'm going to paint the thresholds (I think that is what they are called - those long black ribbed things on the bottom of the door jam), the shifter, and maybe even the the mirrors and bumper trim.
I have decided against the soundproofing material for now. Getting a new windshield installed on Tuesday and that ate up most of the car budget for this month - that and the $650 bench seat - ouch.

Home Depot and Lowe's sell this duct work installation. It is a aluminum for oil top, adhesive insulation that is used to wrap duct work. It is about 6 inches wide and comes in rolls like 50 feet long. That is what I used as a sound dampener when I replace the carpet of my truck. It is not that expensive and easy to apply. Because it comes in which is about 6 inches I was able to put some in my doors to quiet them down as well

Man its already hot outside here. Got the wiper arms, mirrors, thresholds and shifter tube done - might tackle the inner part of the front grill today too.

Final result on the carpet - other than the jute pad almost coming off of the back I'd consider it a total success.
Too much pollen in the air today to keep painting outside - grill will have to wait until I put everything back in the truck so I have space again in the garage hehe.

Wow that turned out nice. Mine is not to horrible looking an I just am in to much mud to try to keep it clean lol. I have double sets of floor mats in the truck one to help keep the mud off an the other smaller one to take out an wash.
