I know a lot of trim peices have that, but I can't find it anywhere on the console.

Well, in the middle of repairing my lid. It's together, just letting it cure real good. It seems to be really strong too, I think it will turn out great after sanding and paint.

Getting there. Have to put on another thin layer, sand again and paint. So far so good!

i just bought a 40/20/40 split bench from a junkyard and the seats are separated from the base for cleaning. if i had seen this thread i would taken a closer look at the console for you. while it is separated if you need a pic of something let me know.
