Default Repairing center console lid

My center console lid has a big crack in it near the hint area. I would like to just replace the lid, but I don't see how it removes so I will just repairs it. Is this plastic abs? I assume it is because it seems a lot of the interior plastic I have pulled off are abs plastic, but you know what they say about assuming. So I figured I would just use abs plastic cement to repairs it, and if you can still see the crack I will just put a thin layer of black silicon over it and spray a very light layer of paint over it to help blend it. Any recommendations on doing this? Anyone know how to remove the lid without breaking it?

Finding a way to cover it might be a good option.

What do you mean? I can't open it much more before it breaks.

Usually, it will say somewhere on it like the back side that you can't see. For example, this GM instrument bezel which says it on the back:

If you can't see it, it does say ABS.
