Ive seen people cover it with a flat piece of diamond plate, not my cup of tea but it looks better than a hole.

I put in a mirror with compass and thermometer I got from eBay. Pretty easy install and it looks neat!

Thanks! I actually got the idea from yours! But I couldn't find one with map lights in my price range, so I just got the budget version!

Haha, I feel ya. I know when I got mine, I was obsessed with it for a week! The auto dim wasn't something that I thought I would care for, I had an Acura that had one and I didn't like it. But this one works great. And really, I don't use the map lights like I thought I would, I just use the truck's factory map lights, they are nice to have though. But the compass and temp was the coolest thing to me, it helps modernize the truck

Well.........I'm in trader mode at the moment. Problems with the Ford so I'm sporting a new to me Sierra. Mint condition 2000. I've got my ham radio installed, but my CB is sitting on the shelf. I might have to drag it out and get it back on the air after seeing your set up. I've got a Ranger 2970 that needs to be used! Lol. Just HATE drilling holes in this Sierra. Never had a truck quite as nice. The Ford was all custom build stuff, so it was allot easier to take a drill bit or saw to.

Yeah, it would be tough for me to make my self drill into a newer truck. Love the set up in your f150. Good eye on the ranger too!
