I have the dreaded broken door handle!
95 f150, 5.0 2wd,
Yep, changed all my door panel clips and the driver's side door is SOL. All the screws are done for. Tried using some silicon I had in the glove box and see what happens after a day. NOPE. Nada.
What have you guys been doing? I *may* know someone with a welding tool. Any thing else will work?

I'm wonder if the following will work:
Piece of sheet metal with 3 holes in it. Kinda looks like a popsicle stick. 1/3 from top will be the bolt that is used for the innards. Then 1 hole on each end to bolt onto the flimsy sheet metal on the underside. Think that'll work?

Google to the rescue!! I'll look around for a square piece of metal and drill a hole. Then maybe JB Weld it on the underside of the thin metal so when I pull, it'll pull on the original metal part. When I looked in the other day (darn, I put brand new panel clips on it too) it looked to be all jagged and thin so probably need a lot more support.
FYI, panel clips on amazon $5.00 a bag of 25.
