Default Oil Pressure Gauge Accuracy

As per the title - how accurate is this gauge? I recently bought a 92 5.0 XLT Flareside with 140,000 miles and auto - everything runs fine but the oil pressure gauge reads low (just about hits the 'N' of the word 'NORMAL' that's printed on the gauge).
Is this …. er…. normal, or should I be concerned.

First job I did after I bought it was drop the old oil and replaced with Mobil 1 and new filter - everything looked OK - old oil didn't look to have been in there long - no sludge, foam or bits of engine present.

The coolant temp gauge reads surprisingly low for Florida too, so I was wondering if they are just a bit approximate.

Any help/suggestions/remedies gratefully received.
Matt

Yep. You either have oil pressure or you don't, that's all it reads. If you want accuracy you'll need to install a custom gauge.
