Default 1996 Seat Belts

Looking to replace the female seat belt ends on driver & passenger side for my 1996 F-150 std cab. The plastic sheaths on both are cracked and the seat belts do not sit straight like they used to which also changes how they feel when you are strapped in. These are the ends that stick through the seat and bolt to the floor.

Anyone know of a replacement, aside from a salvage yard (which I'm not too keen of for this particular item)?

If you find good sheaths you can change them. Seatbelt out, pull the staple and it slides off. Rust buster on the bolts from underneath a few days ahead of time.

You should be able to find sheaths in decent shape at a JY, like chris said just swap them out.

If you are dead set on replacing you will have to get them through a dealership, and they cost $$$

DON'T buy replacements from the stealership. Jeff's Bronco Graveyard sells factory reproduction seatbelt sleeves for the 1980-1996 Ford F-150/250/350/Bronco. The sleeves are only available currently in black (OEM colour sleeves to be released soon). You can paint the sleeves to match your interior plastic using SEM rattle can aerosol paint (http://www.levineautoparts.com/semvinandpla.html).

SEE DRIVER & PASSENGER SIDE REPRODUCTION SLEEVES BELOW:

I hope this helps.

Chase, this definitely helps fix an annoying issue. Most i've seen in junkyards are cracked like mine and yes, the OEM replacements are around $120 each side.

Thank you!

Fuel boy, if am glad I could help you out. I try to avoid stealer ships at all possible (for repairs and/or parts). I highly recommend SEM paint products. Look them up on YouTube to learn how to get best results. Call auto parts stores and/or auto paint supply stores in your area and you will find a place that carries SEM paint. Good luck in your project. Happy Thanksgiving!

fuelboy,

I found a website that sells SEM custom ordered Fors light Opal grey paint to match exactly that specific color plastic. You can contact this website company to see if they have other exact matches of Ford interior colors.
