Default 1995 150 XL Supercab. How to get plastic cover off center console?

Between the front two seats is a 3rd seat of sorts when folded up. When folded down, there's a lid with compartment for change, etc. Forward of that is a cup holder with spaces for two cups. There's a sliding cover over that that's not sliding open all the ay.

So, I'm wanting to take the entire black plastic trim/cover off so I can see what the problem is. I see no screws though. I assume it pops off but I don't want to break it if there's a trick to removing it.

Can someone please help me out here?

Probably has had soda spilled on it, spray with warm water to dissolve sugar and free it up.

Thanks but I don't drink soda. Only thing that's been in those cup holders is water...and change. I suspect some of that fell back in there when it was raised up in the seat position. I can hear and feel something moving around while trying to slide that little door open.

I had a sticky air vent that a little warm water free'd up.
Go by the wrecking yard and tear into one there., I looked at mine and can't see how it would come apart, my guess is that it has snap clips that are released from cushion side.

Mine's just an armrest, but there is a zipper on the fabric that might allow you to get at something ? That's a shot in the dark.
