Default 1992 F-150 Heater blows without warm air

My heater never seems to get warm. I know that the engine itself always runs pretty cool but I can't seem to get any heat unless the engine is ready to burst into flame.
What should I check into to try to track down the issue?

Your blend door may not be moving well, or you could have air in the system.
What thermostat do you have ? It should be a 192, but sometimes people put cooler ones in in the summer.

Not really a winter project but flushing and back-flushing the heater core will also do wonders for your heat.
