Tire and Rim Question
Hi everyone,
This fall I will be looking for new tires and came across a picture of a classic f100 4x4 rockin some nice vintage steelies. So i have decided i would like to go this rout with my truck.
I plan to buy a set of 15x8 wheel vintiques for my truck and putting 33x12.5 on them. I have a 4" lift and was wondering what backspacing i would need to get these on and have absolutely no rub.
Right now i have a set of 17x10 i believe rims with 35x12.5 on there and they rub at full turn.
Ill include a picture of my truck and the rims i want to get.
Thanks for any help or input you offer.

After looking more closely those seem to be 15x10s on the red f100 so here us what i would be looking to get
So would this back spacing be a good fit for my truck with 33x12.5 on it

What's the backspacing on the rims you have now? And by switching to a 33 instead of a 35 it might not rub at all with the same backspacing you have now.
You could also buy a set of cheap 1/2 in. spacers that you can get at pretty much any parts store. Add one to each front wheel and see if they still rub. If they don't then you know how much you need to change the backspacing. If they still rub then put a second spacer on each front wheel and see if it still rubs.

It looks like the only back spacing available with the 15x10 is 4.5 with a -25mm offset. Do these specs sound good or is something sticking out? Sorry if these questions are dumb. This is my first time venturing out into buying rims.

After doing some more research i was wondering will a 15" rim fit over the front disc brakes, and also i have been seeing that people recommend a 3.75 backspace for a 15x10 rim so with a 4.5 backspace is this rim going to fit. Or would i need a different backspace.
Those who are running 15x10 rims what are your specs.
Thanks

Is there any newer OEM wheel that will fit on a 95. I have seen some great looking wheels on the new Explorer Sport, 20s. I would rather stay with Ford wheels than go for an aftermarket one any day.

Hi again, sorry i didnt update. Got kinda busy and truck repairs were needed along the way. Anyway i ordered the rims a couple months ago. I recently painted them using just some spray cans and they came out really well. I have ordered my tires but summit has them on back order so it will be at least 2 more weeks before i get the rims and tires mounted up and put on my truck.
Here is how the rims came out and these are the tires i ordered.

On a side note. Have any of you upgraded the brakes. When i got the truck the brakes lasted about a month and then they were totally shot. The brake pads literally fell out on the way to the shop. So ive had my brakes done and they work great not. Brand new rotors and calipers, master cylinder and brake lines. But it stil feels like id like some more stopping power. I went up to the mountain to snowboard and coming down the brakes seemed a little bit tired. I guess what im saying is with over sized tires the stock brakes leave something to be desired.
