Default Source for 1992 Front Bumper?

Could a kind member please suggest any reliable source(s) for a new OEM chrome front bumper (with holes for trim) for a 1992 F150 XLT, Ford part # F2TZ17757B? I don't want to order any more substandard aftermarket duds. Thanks very much for any help.

Thanks, Snaggletooth. There were many claimed equivalents on ebay, and others at LMC, Broncograveyard, and SummitRacing, I was leaning towards LMC truck or Broncograveyard. I appreciate the endorsement of LMC. I have contacted them with a question before I order.

No problem, LMC is the only place I can recommend for stock replacement. Haven't used the others.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I am looking for a new chrome bumper for an XLT. There were two 92-96 bumpers on Craiigslist, but neither have holes for the impact strip, and both are damaged.

I sent an email asking LMC Truck if their part #49-9518 bumper was a match for Ford part #F2TZ17757B. Their 'research team' replied "We can confirm that our air deflectors do not fit on the bumper you are interested in. We cannot guarantee that your original valance will work, as we do not have an original valance to compare with. Please be advised that this bumper is not considered OE and may be different from your original." Why would their parts not be made to factory dimensions if they sell the bumpers and all the assorted bits that attach to them?

Default Front Bumper

Not sure where you are at. There is a place by me called Keystone Automotive. They supply parts to body shops. They sell economy and CAPA certified parts as well. The CAPA certified sells for approx $220. Make sure you let them know if yours has the cut outs or not. Their # is 773-523-0354

I bought a replacement bumper from LMC ('96, painted, no impact strip) and it went on pretty well once I got the last bolt attached. Looking at the bumper on the truck, you couldn't tell its not OEM. I think the holes not lining up quite right is the only problem. The air defector I ordered later didn't line up quite right with the bumper either and the rivets were larger then the bumper holes. But I made it work with little problem and it looks good. Just check the condition of your bumper mounts because you may need new ones also.

I ordered a bumper from LMC last week and am expecting it in the next day or so. I'll report how it goes. Thanks.
