Single Cab, Window Tint % Questions

Single Cab, Window Tint % Questions
I recently picked up my F150 and I'm looking to get tint done.
I can't decide what % I want to get for the truck...I have 5% all the way around on the Fusion and it's not what I want for this truck (I want to get in and go without any issues).
My question is since the windshield is so close to the the rest of the windows, what % will still appear "legal".
I'm thinking 15% on the back window, but I can't decide between 15%/30% on the front...I don't want it to be too light during the day (30% being my worry for that reasoning), but then again I don't want any tickets. My interior is brown if that helps at all.
Thanks for your help guys and gals.

It depends on the laws in your area. In MI, I think its 25 on front windows and whatever past that. I have 20 on my fronts. and 15 everywhere else. I like to keep it close enough to legal as to where the cop would really have to think about it.

Whatever you decide, be prepared to pay the piper if you get dinged for illegal tint.
My truck has oem privacy glass and my state laws say 28% for front side windows...so, my tint guy did 30%. If the little tint o meter is 2% off, i wont have to worry about a citation for "26%" tint. Just find what your stste laws are by going to the tint shop. Or, just make your life easy and ask for darkest legal, give them money, and get it done.

I've had one ticket in my 10 years of driving for all my vehicles with tint (all have been 15% or darker), but I've gotten out of probably half a dozen tickets.
I'm trying to fly under the radar so I appreciate all the feedback everyone.
I'll have to ponder it further...

It looks pretty dark still for the town I live in...I'm glad I have something to go off of now!
