The block is being machined right now. Stroking to 502" flat top forged pistons, blueprint balanced crank and all those goodies! Next is finding someone to work the heads.

Here's an idea you can use for your hood's inner frame. It's a camaro hood but i'm sure you get where I'm going with this.
Also the hood that I'm getting my concept from.

If you could find a set of 429 Cobra Jet heads (second version), those work really well on a 502. I had a 79 with that setup about 14 years ago.
Also look into the viability of using the 429 crank gear.

Dont require hoodscoop for the BBF in the truck. It will fit under stock hood.
