Default Nothin 4 1991???

No fiberglass cowl hoods 4 a 91 f150? What the heck!?!? I need to lose as much weight as possible and hate doin fiberglass, any suggestions?

Yeah much cheaper, but I jus got done doing a 16' bay liner boat complete inside and I am sick of fiberglass!!!

Don't have to use fiberglass. Im doing all steel.

That hood is super heavy though. I would rather go all glass for weight. Are u removing the inner shell out?

Yeah then basically using the same concept of the inner frame, but lighter. Im not doing a cowl hood though. Im doing a scoop like off an AAR Cuda , so I need a hole in the middle

I got to studying it las night, and I think I'm gonna jus strip the inner and use the outer shell. I'm going with a 4 pin setup, no hinges. This will save a bunch of $$$ and keep the stock look! I'm jus not sure what my clearance will be yet until I drop the bb in.
