Default Need to replace cracked window trim

20 years of TX sun has not been kind to this truck. The latest casualty on the green monster is the disintegrating window trim piece at the bottom of both the drivers and passenger side door windows. If I understood the parts guy correctly, I believe that the part is called a belt molding. It just snaps in, supposedly. The originals are cracked in a way that truly blows. Not only does it not "weather strip", both windows are scratched. The new window tint really shows these off. The dealer reps in the area quoted me around $100, PER DOOR, give or take. I would sooner drive with no windows at all than cough up this extortion coin. I would never look at a junk yard for this part period. If I buy online, can save about $60 per door. I'm looking for the highest recommended on line store for body trim parts anyway, since I will eventually restore it if new trucks keep staying unattainable. (Thanks Ford). I need to be sure that the aftermarket part is right the first time with no quality issues. I have not had success in the past in pursuit of decent replacements. Which sucks, since Ford does not make parts anymore, for 20 year old, $6000 trucks. A new Raptor is half as much as my house. Or 3 years of college! But, I digress.

Saw a set of body mounts that came in from LMC yesterday. Those looked top notch quality for what that's worth.

Parts are exactly correct from JCWhitney. Instead of $200 for 2 pieces, both outside pieces; I got 4 pieces, inside and outside, for $75. They shipped fast too.

As install tips please. I'm in Texas too and while all my rubber is in good shape it leaves black lines down the truck when it rains.
