Default LMC Chrome Grille

LMC says their chrome grille for a 92-96 (PN 49-2533) is on backorder, with no date available. Is it worth waiting for? Is the quality okay for a driver? Is there another source? They have the headlight doors, and I'd like to also get a chrome front bumper and rear roll pan from them.

I'd look in a salvage yard before paying LMC prices. Or check the for sale/for trade forums here. Or even ebay. LmC stuff is mostly aftermarket chinese crap.

I was afraid about it being Chinese crap, too. I think I'll drag my feet a while and think it over. Thanks.

FWIW I see the grills on sale all the time on craigslist - if not by themselves then on a truck that is parting out. Keep your eye out and be vigilant and you will get a good deal.

The aftermarket grilles are mostly cheap pieces of crap that don't fit right. Not sure about LMC in particular but I've seen a couple that guys bought and they weren't happy. Very shiny but no comparison to the factory ones.
