Seeing that my frame is pretty much rust free an still has factory paint on it I would like to keep it this way. I planned to do a coating in por 15 but have no idea how much to order to do the frame. Truck is a 1991 extended cab with a standard lenght bed. Thanks for any help.

note that it says coverage of 100 to 120 sqft per gallon, so i would say that your frame should take about 1/2 a gallon, perhaps 3/4 at most.

Any reason you would suggest truck bed liner on the frame?

POR15 goes on very thin so 1qt should be more than enough.

because it is in a high impact area, much like a truck bed is, what with rocks being constantly kicked up and impacting the frame and underside of the bed. the bed liner is designed to handle such impacts on a regular basis.

Sounds logical thanks. If the weather holds of or I can get some of my buddies shop space I hope to do this soon.
