Headlight Help!!
Hey Folks! I got a new headlight assembly for my 94 F150 XLT 4X4 a couple weeks back. After unplugging my bulb and taking out the 2 screws above the light I suddenly realized that the entire trim piece around the light will have to come out. Where are the screws located that release the trim. This is on the drivers side for reference.

They're tucked away out of sight. There are holes in the metal rad saddle that you can get at them through (halfway up either side of the light, roughly).
If I remember it right here, the trim doesn't have to come off to pull the headlight, just the u shaped slide clips that hold the headlight (follow the adjuster screws)

Here's a video about replacing.
I found it's easiest to remove the front plastic piece that the grill mounts to, the housings come out with it and it makes it much easier to remove the clips when you can get at them from the back.

Just replaced the headlights in an f250. I pulled the grille off then pulled the side marker trim pieces out then pulled the whole clip off that the headlights are mounted to so it was easy to get the headlight clips off. A few extra bolts but wasn't too bad!

J U S T got nose off truck. IF I had known doing my 96's headlight buckets was to be this much FUN may have started with Tannerite.
Thanks for the help though in many posts for advise and great directions for this chore. Raining now, will get to actually taking pictures and cussin' tomorrow.

I'll have to ask. Are these an OEM [art or are they available from other than factory sources?
Thanks for advise on clips, already broke one trying to work it off.
