front bumper extension
Yup, I searched. Found nothing on this forum regarding extending the front bumper out.
Been awhile since I posted. 94' F150 5.0 4x4 ext cab.
f250 springs front and rear.
Just put 33x12.50's on and I want to extend the front bumper out to avoid rubbing. A friend told me it shouldn't be too much trouble and it doesn't look to be, but I thought I would ask the experienced Ford owner before attempting.
Anyone done this and if so, what is involved? Are the original bumper bolts long enough to throw washers on them to get the space I need or do I need to replace with longer bolts?
Any tips would be great. Thanks.

I have a 4 inch rough country lift with an extra 3/4 inch coil spring spacer put in and 33x12.50x15 togo m/t on my 1995 single cab 302 and my tires were rubbing really bad i took a plasma cutter to the back corners and cut them of then took a grinder and smoothed it out a lil and it looks good and can't tell it unless you actually go up and know what its suppose to look like and it is very simple
