Default Anyone building grilles?

I'm curious if anyone on here is building grilles like Klinux13's or Smcox's?

I'd be interested in buying one or negociating one since I don't see any specific build threads up.

I can build one of those easy. all you need is some expanded metal grate or any other style of steel with holes some flat stock steel and an old Oem grill.

1st cut out the center of the grille leaving enough room to bolt the flat stock and metal grate. get some big *** bolts and nuts drill some holes and attach flat stock and grate. paint it if you want or not.

I dont want one on my tuck i think it looks crapply made. No offence.

if you cant make on yourself I got pay pal and a home depot near by if you want to pay for the parts and shipping.

I would by all means providing finished quality is like SM's or Klinux's minus the light bar opening.

I like the look myself. I just want mesh though, and in black.

its really not all to difficult to make. and I do believe there's a thread with a step by step a while back. some one made one with the Superman Logo in the middle.

Ill make a run to home depot and get some prices. going to need to find a oem grille now that's going to run about 75 bucks around here. ill see if i can find one for less. I got no clue how much shipping's going to be either. give me a day to come back with a general price on the cost for you if your not confident enough to build on yourself.

To Each is own. i dont like the look of it. same with the billet grilles. sorry.
and i didnt say it looks like crap i said it looks crapply done.

if you took a bit more time and curved the edges to match the grilles contores and not put a square over something thats rounded a bit it look a bit better. and used a black plastic grille other then a chrome one. but again its just my Opinon.

I don't need the grille piece I can drill it in. I have my grille.

I mainly need the black piece and hardware built. I like it SM I'm just not confident/don't have time to be building one as I've been working 10 hr shifts 6 days a week for the past .. I don't even remember.

Oh I took a lot **** on another forum for the vertical parts of the grille not being curved, to the point I had people pretty much stocking me. Oh and my grille surround is ptm not cheap XL looking front end....
