93 F150 Regular Cab want to make it look tougher!

I have to agree with Mista Breeze on this one with that the Tires are one of the top ways to make a truck mean. Stock height on a 2wd would call for a maximum of the 31x10.5x15 like Mista Breeze said also, which fill the space MUCH better, and look a lot better, but you can get stock size tires with some aggressive looks too.
If you don't want to stop there, try a bull bar/grille guard, along with the bumper itself. The bumper you have, also like mine, isn't very aggressive looking. The picture that Mista Breeze posted has another F150 bumper from that year, and I think they look more aggressive. As for the Bull Bar/Grille Guard, some people like them and some people don't. Personally, I like the smaller ones that are more of a bumper guard with 2 or 3 auxiliary lights.
You said you aren't into a suspension lift, but another big thing is leveling the truck out like a 4x4.Some people swear by F250 springs, others MOOG, but in the end, they are all off by a little bit, and they incredibly easy to install alongside that they aren't horribly expensive either. Makes the stance of the truck a little better without. If you do go with leveling the truck out, DO NOT forget to get an alignment, otherwise you will ruin tires and other components, plus it's not going to be comfortable to drive.

The bull bar option would be awesome just there a little pricey and i don't have the equipment or knowledge to make one myself.
Also i'll look into the leveling kit a friend at school has a 93 flareside and i think his is leveled and it looks pretty sweet!

Hi yeah I'm going to look into some tires. Also I'm going to go to the local wrecker and maybe pull some extra parts off for a much lower price.

A lot of mods get pricey though, which is why my build ( and a lot of others' ) is paycheck by paycheck.. I already have my next like 3 months worth of paychecks figure out already. Lights, rims/tires, bull bar, leveling kit, general maintenance stuff, etc.

The valance is easy to remove but it would not be too easy to put back on. It's riveted to the bumper so you either have to cut the rivets or cut the plastic as close to the rivets as you can like I did. A Dremel or die grinder will make quick work of it.

X2 we aren't too fond of lowered trucks 'round this forum lol
A factory Lightning, in my opinion, is the lowest a truck should ever sit. And that's only acceptable because it's purpose for existing is to be fast and hug the road. A truck is a truck, therefor it should look like a truck, and be able to work like a truck.

If it were mine I would level it in the rear. Yeah it's lowered but that would look good. Don't go way low like the photoshop. IMO leveling the rear would make it look tastefully good and different. Oh and yeah if you can afford new wheels that would improve too. I'd go w/ black ones for sure on that truck.

I actually did a photoshop of the truck
lowered with blacked out rims, and tinted the lights etc. Also the windows a bit more but i messed that up and couldn't undo do it so the windows have no opacity! (ignore the windows)
Lowered my tuck
This was it before
Oh yeah and I do have the hubcap it just fell off and i haven't put it back on yet!
Thanks for your response!

The valence is held on with rivets? That's a first for me. My '95 uses plastic retaining push/pulls. Never been wrecked either. All original. The truck, IMO, looks naked without the valence. It actually serves to reduce drag under the truck on the factory stance and also works very well at pushing through deep water. Lol
That factory front bumper reminds me allot of the old Nascar T-Bird. I love it!

The valance on mine was riveted on, same size rivets that hold the radius arm brackets. I just cut the plastic as close as I could to the rivets, because I didn't feel like spending hours and countless cutoff wheels cutting the 4,000 rivets.
And on a truck that sits low the valances look okay, but if you want your truck to look like it sits higher if take it off. It also depends on the bumper. If you have a solid chrome or painted bumper it does look naked without it, but if your truck has the cutout bumper like mine it looks fine.
As for the usefulness of it: your truck is a brick. Removing it will make very VERY little difference. A brick is not aerodynamic no matter how you try to divert air lol

Yeah leave the valence on that truck. It helps keep water and road crap off the undercarrage too. A bed cover would look sweet on that truck too and if those harley wheels mentioned fit that would be BA man!
