Can anyone tell me if I use an 85 fenders and hood basically the entire front end on an 89? I have 85 with great fenders and hood and headlight header panel. Can I just it bolt up? I like the bull nose from the 85s but like the cab from the 89. I have seen people do 89 to a 92-97 haven't seen an 89 to a 85

I think you have to switch the whole front clip but yes it can be done. Your wheel wells will be different on the bed also.

The frame mounting points are the same , so it will all bolt on. If memory serves , the headlight and turn signal connectors will need to be swapped as well. One of my buddies did the same swap a few years back.
