Went to get my emissions checked in Illinois and my truck was rejected. It was rejected because my emissions monitors were not ready. The ones that were ready were
-Comprehensive component
-Engine misfire
-Fuel system performance
The ones that weren't ready were
-Cat converter eff.
-Heated O2 sensor
-Secondary air system
-EGR flow
- O2 sensor.
I drive the truck every day and mostly on the highway mixed with a little city here and there. I cleaned the DPFE sensor and EGR valve sensor about a month or month and a half ago because there was a check engine light that indicated it was bad so I fixed it and cleared the code. And about 4-5 days ago I had to give my brother a jump start. I have a weak battery myself and it needs replaced very bad. Are any of these things what have caused my monitors to not be set yet? Or am I fine and just need to keep driving more? Also, I have looked at ways to reset monitors quicker but don't know if they apply to my truck. Does anyone know how to reset them faster? I have a 96 f150. Thanks
