Question about interchangeable parts, etc.
I bought a complete 302 engine (minus a/c and alternator) off of a 93 F150. It is speed density. I bought it to tear down to the bare block and then build it back up with new pistons, heads, and cam, etc. Using the stock crank. While I'm saving up money to get the block magnafluxed and honed or bored, I'm going to clean up the parts I plan to reuse. I was wondering if you guys could help me out by letting me know if these parts can be used on a Mass Air set up and other questions.
The truck this is going in is a 95 F150 Mass Air. I plan on using the wiring harness and all the accessories from the 95.
Anything I need to be aware of? The 93 is a roller block "xxx".
Should I reuse the following (if they appear to be in good condition)?
EGR
Fuel rail and injectors (are they the same for mass air setup?)
lower intake
upper intake
throttle body (do mass air and speed density both use the same?)
two piece metal/rubber oil pan gasket
metal/rubber valve cover gaskets
timing chain cover
lifters
No brainers that I'll reuse:
valve covers
oil pan
crank (getting checked)
Definitely replacing:
pistons
heads (all new springs, push rods, etc.)
cam
timing chain and gears
all bearings
all the oil pump stuff
Okay, so for the parts I'm going to clean up and reuse, what is the easiest way to do this? I was thinking about buying a $100 parts washer from HF http://www.harborfreight.com/20-gal-...ump-60769.html but it looks kind of weak . . . but for $100 . . . For the ones that are rusty, do you have a suggestion on the easiest way to remove the rust? I know there are solvents that eat the rust away, but not sure if I should use those.
Sorry for so many questions. But this is what we do, right?

EGR If its in good shape no problem
Fuel rail and injectors (are they the same for mass air setup?) The injectors don't care if it's mass air or not the computer controls them, BUT make sure they are 19LB injectors, and buy the rebuild kits for them that have new o-rings and pintle caps
lower intake clean it out
upper intake clean it out
throttle body (do mass air and speed density both use the same?) It should be fine if I remember correctly
two piece metal/rubber oil pan gasket Just buy a new gasket, it's cheap and you'll be kicking yourself if that old one leaks
metal/rubber valve cover gaskets Buy new ones
timing chain cover just clean it out
lifters I personally would buy new lifters so that I know there's no crap in them to restrict flow
