Default power steering pump rebuild

i believe that my power steering pump is going out in my 1995 ford f150 5.0, i was wondering if i were to just rebuild it instead so save some money and get some expense, i will have help so it can be done but is it worth it for me i have all the tools that is needed. also what kind of pump would it me?

What makes you think the pump is going out? I'm not sure how you would rebuild a pump. Probably cheaper and simpler to just get a rebuilt pump, maybe 60 to 80 dollars.

my truck wants to die when i go around corners untill it warms up, and the rebuild kits are only $20 so it would be cheaper not counting my time i put in to rebuilding it
