New owner of 1992 Flareside et new on forum.
Hi gang, i'm new on the forum, new owner on a ford truck ( I trade my k10 Chevy for it ) and i'm a french Canadian, so I will do my best here for the langage!
I trade my Chevy for an 1992 singlecab Ford Flareside 4x4. The truck looks really nice, but I know it will need time and money. The truck was born with a 302 efi automatic, and they change it for a 351 efi with a 5 speed tranny.
I want to know for parts, does other generation then 9th parts will fit like the 8th or 7th.
I've got a 1988 Mercury Grand marquis with 302, with 90 000km, what kind of parts I can take on it ( motor, tranny, wiper motor etc)
Have a great day to all of you and thanks for reading!

Most of the body stuff is 92 to 96. The frame and suspension are pretty much the same from 80 - 96. Electronic stuff gets a little more specific to the year. Little stuff like a wiper motor - read the part #, examine the part, check the plug ins etc, and you can always use a site like rockauto.com or LMC trucks to cross reference the part number from one vehicle to another.
So are you going to post a picture for us or what ? lol
