Does anyone know if a 4.6 v8 would fit in my 91 f150 I can get the engine and trans for $100

Even if it was free, it will cost more in modifications to install it than it would to buy a used motor that fits.

For a hundred bucks, if the engine/trans combo is any good, I'd buy it and put it up for sale @ $5-800 and then use the proceeds to find a used 302/351 to drop in. Salvage yards are getting upwards of a grand for a good 4.6. .... just thinkin out loud
