Yea, unhook the negative cable and turn your lights on. Leave it that way for at least 20 minutes.

I don't know about the turn your lights on part, but I have cleared mine by just pulling the negative for a few minutes. Mine is OBDII, if that makes a difference.

If it is choking itself out, it could be your TPS (throttle position sensor). Don't know to much about that. But there is a lot of threads on that subject. You might want to clean the throttle body first.

Ok, got the codes clear. my new code is 111 for the KOEO and the Continuous code is 542.

In case you haven't found it:
542: Fuel Pump circuit failure - PCM to GRD. Someone else will have to help you with this because (knock on wood) I have not had fuel system or PCM problems yet.
