Default Mass air

I have to replace my mass air and wanted to get opinions on quality after market ones. So what yall think?

motorcraft only. Fords do NOT get along with aftermarket sensors

Rich codes and it will idle down at times and stall.

Have you tried cleaning it with Maf sensor cleaner

Yea and it seemed to help but didnt solve the problem. It didnt want to stall as often after cleaning.

Buy a FoMoCo unit from the dealer in the blue & white box. Don't just buy a Motorcraft unit. A lot of the Motorcraft stuff is made in China now and I've had issues with the parts on quite a few occasions.

For example, bought 2 Motorcraft O2 sensors for my Mustang. They had Made In China printed right on the front of the bags. I installed them and had driveability issues. Bought 2 new Bosch units and all was well.

you can't get blue box stuff for those trucks anymore. And most sensors are red box anymore anyway

True, but if you look enough you can sometimes find NOS pieces that someone has in a dusty box sitting on a shelf.

Also, I meant to suggest pulling a few sensors from trucks at the junk yard. Clean them, swap them in and see if the problem persists.
