Loud POP in front end
The other day we had some frozen weather and I was helping a Tundra out of a ditch. I pulled up behind him and with the truck in 4WD I proceeded to pull him out tf the ditch on a slight uphill grade. When my tow strap got tight I gave it some gas and the all tires started spinning so I let off and tried again. This time my right front wheel made a loudPOP noise and I could feel it thru the steering wheel. I don't have a clue what it is and what should I be looking for. Another question > If Im on an icy/slick frozen surface should all 4 tires spin if I break traction? This is a stock 94 XLT F150 5.0 4X4 with no locking diff. Thanks

Usually only 3 wheels at best, with a locking rear end. Front is usually open unless someone put an aftermarket locker up there - but that's really hard on the drive train.
You may have broken a hub or a u joint up front. Jack it up with the hubs locked and see if the front driveshafts are turning when you move the tire or not
