Default How do I know what year my front end is?

I recently purchased a 1993 F150 XLT 4x4, 5 speed. upon getting it home and doing some research, i figured out that it had originally been a two wheel drive truck. how do i kow what year the front end is, so i can order parts correctly? It is a TTB dana 44, 3.54 ratio.

Just go to part store and Order parts for a 93 4x4 in stead of a 2 wheel drive.

The point is to not be ordering the wrong parts. Was the ttb 4x4 front end the same throughout a certain generation?
