Default Help with locking hubs

So I got a set of warn lock-o-matic hubs second hand of craigslist. Apparently new and unused but I went to install them and **** hit the fan. Sorry for the language. I'm not sure how to I stall them and I'm pretty sure there is suppose to be a spring I them but there isn't. Can anyone give me directions so I know whether I got shafted on this deal or tell me whether I'm missing parts. I have no clue at this point. Please ask questions so I can better explain what is going on. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with the aftermarket hub assembly but I do know that the 94 and up models had a different style of spindle nut and that if you switched over to manual hubs you needed to buy a spindle nut conversion kit to make it work.

You might be able to get it cheaper - basically its two inner spindle nuts, two outers, and the washer in between. It replaces the weird keyed spindle nut that came with the newer auto locking hubs. The 93 and older already had the older hub mechanism with the correct spindle nuts so they didn't need the conversion kit.

Tons of info here
