Pulled my left axel out of my 1996 f150 to change the u joint . As I was putting it back in I noticed the inner seal on the out side of the housing was torn I put the axle back in and it's leaking a lot . What is the process to change that seal ? Can I change it front out side or do I need to pull the housing ?

You don't need to pull the housing, it can be done right where it is. it's not hard to do, seal puller makes it easier too.
