Default Gear Brands and Carrier brands

Even though I've been saying this for a while, I plan on swapping to 4.10s in the next few months. That being said, I need to start looking at brands. I want to go limited slip up front and in the rear. I know the 44 needs a new carrier for 4.10's anyway. It is a 30 spline, correct? The rear I want to swap to limited slip as well, so what are some good brands? truck is used mostly as my dd and for towing, so its a street queen. Does very little off roading, but I do from time to time. Also, I may replace bearings and seals up front and in the rear, defiantly the seals, not sure about bearings yet. If they look bad then obviously ill replace them. So any recommendations on brands? I don't need top of the line stuff, but money isn't a HUGE issue, but obviously I want to save where I can. Thanks for your replies.

Anyone? Would ford racing be good to go with for a limited slip carrier? I would think it would be good, but I don't know.

If it were me I'd go for Eaton true trac front and rear. No clutches to wear out, so they last forever, and no need for friction modifier.

Yukon has a pretty good reputation. Check broncograveyard.com and get some good price comparisons. We ordered a bunch of dana 35 parts 6 months ago or so - they were good to deal with

Ok, so after some research I started wondering. For my front carrier, do I really need an ls carrier? For what I use my truck, my open rear diff will get me through 90% of what I need to get through, but some of it I wouldn't attempt without knowing I have 4x4 to engage. I feel a ls rear and open front diff will get me through anything I need to get through, but since I have to swap my front diff anyway I hate to not spend the extra ~$300 for a nice ls carrier vs open. But, I hate to spend the extra money and not need it too. As I said, for what I use the truk for It will get through anything I need it to and then some, its doesn't do any hard off roading. Here is my run down.
Rear Im doing all new bearings (Including wheel) and seals, with ls carrier and 4.10s. I want to keep this at or below $700
Front, Im doing all new seals and bearings (Including wheel), (open or closed diff?) ball joints, adjustable camber bushings, f250 2wd coils, new brake pads and rotors, and 4.09s.. I want this at or below $800, and for that price only an open diff seems to allow this. I just bought used tires with 1500 miles on them, they are 265/75/16. Im about to buy some rims. Soon after the regear, Ill do rear airbag helpers, a trans temp gauge, and put a fan on my trans cooler. In the end, I want to keep the price of all this minus rims and tires around $2000, but the front carrier is putting me over this for a ls. The truck will be used primarily for towing, and as a dd. Off roading doesn't happen often, but is necessary sometimes. This is my only 4x4 vehicle, so anywhere I have to go off road, this goes. The dodge gets stuck in wet grass with its open diff and heavy Cummins up front.

Reading, It seems that open front is my best bet. I would like to have a ls rear, however. Opinions on that?

I don't know if it'd cause problems or not but you'll be the only person I know of with a 3 wheel drive truck.
