Default clutch problem

1996 f-150 2wd 4.9 6cyl m5od transmission/ the clutch and slave cylinder and pressure plate and throw out bearing all were replaced by a shop in april 2016.

I was travelling to work tonight and was in 2nd gear, went to shift to 3rd and heard a loud pop and clutch pedal fell to floor. I pulled it up with my toe and now it won't depress at all. It feels rock solid where it is and I can't move the pedal down at all. I limped to work in 2nd gear but cannot start the truck because I cannot depress the pedal. Any suggestions as to what the problem is now? Thanks for any help.
