Calling all ford service techs!!!
Well gentlemen I have questions that require answering before I drop $500 in exhaust parts. I have been looking at getting my exhaust updated in quite some time. I wanted to know if the following combination of shorty headers to y pipe will fit my mostly stock 1995 F150 5.0 4x4.

Y-Pipe: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mpe-93307
Any knowledge on this matter would be great. Thank you for you time.

That y-pipe doesn't bolt up directly without fabrication - check out the reviews on summit and on amazon. Lots of people having problems. You'd be better off just buying a high flow cat and having a muffler shop fab a new y-pipe for you.
These seem to be the most popular headers because they are cheap and shorty headers don't do much anyways.

Id love to have a muffler shop make me a y pipe but I have heard horror stories come from muffler shops.... And I would like those headers but the finish isn't right and they don't have as much clearance for spark plug boots. I understand the reviews on the y pipe aren't the best but I'm not trying to connect to a stock manifold like they are.
