Default 95 f150 e4od shift problem

I recently had my tranny rebuilt (e4od) and it shifts late at half throttle or more 1-2 and too early 3-OD, the only way I can get somewhat normal shifts in 3-OD is keep it a little under or at half throttle at constant throttle.say I'm in 3rd I can feel the truck start to shift early so I give it gas (half throttle) and it doesn't shift early until I let off but by then I'm at the right speed for 4th.... But then it shifts into OD too early. The truck is absolutely terrible on hills because of the early shifting. PLEASE HELP!!!

Check your throttle position sensor (TPS) first off. They can cause a lot of tranny issues.
Then maybe disconnect your battery for a while - maybe the computer needs a reboot to learn new things.
If those don't work take it back to the rebuilder.

I put a new tps and tried the battery disconnected and it still does it. Ig I'll try and contact the rebuilder oh and i forgot to add it done the same thing before the tranny went out

I have the same issue. rebuilt 4k ago shifts too early into 3 and 4th. in fact when it was below 50 degrees last week it went into neutral trying to go into 3rd. I took it back to the rebuilder and they are having fits trying to fighter it out. AMMCO replaced springs in the new manifold, put a new neutral safety switch on and now they believe that it is because they failed to update the computer to the many changes they did to the transmission when they rebuilt it. They too it to the ford dealer today to have the computer updated since the computer has all the old data in it vice the new (many updates) to the transmission. Will find out tomorrow if it worked.
