Default 94 timing belt

I recently bought a 94 f150 xlt with the 5.0 litter v8 and I need to put a new oil pan on it and I read somewhere that I should check the timing chain while I have everything off and I figure that I should just go ahead and change it considering the truck has 191000 miles on it. Can anyone tell me how to change it step by step?

If you've never done a timing chain, I wouldn't recommend it as a DIY project to do alone. Find someone who's done them before. I'd love to help, but without being there, I feel like the guy giving you a shovel to dig a deep hole for yourself.... Having said that.......

Remove waterpump & crank pulley. Special tool needed to pull crank pulley I think.
Consider replacing waterpump & thermostat.
Remove timing chain cover.
Line up marks on existing gears.
Remove old parts, install new parts.
Clean timing chain cover, clean sealing surfaces on block.
Reassemble.
Change oil & filter, consider flushing coolant. Fill/burp coolant.
Test drive, recheck.

Can be done but a lot of work. A lot of stuff you should replace like the first guy said. If you don't know what you are doing. Don't do it.
