Trying to get some guidance on how to fix. When in 2WD, it hums like big tires on the road at about 30 MPH. I have read in later models that may be a Solenoid issue or possible vacuum. Trying to find out of this could possibly be the case in a 93.

93 is old style Dana 44 TTB. The humming could be your bearings needing grease/ adjustment. When was the last time you regreased them ? If you can't remember, they probably need it.
