Default 1995 inline 6 F150 boggs down when accelerating

I'm looking at picking up a 95 F150 with a inline 6 it idle just fine when you accelerate lightly it's fine but when you try to get up to actual speed it Boggs down and sort of sputters what could this possibly be??

May be a fuel issue (check pressures) or a restricted exhaust such as a bad catalytic converter.

Same issue a few months ago. I would look at your fuel pressure. If you have low pressure at the rail, it could be your fuel filter is clogged. I changed mine and was amazed at the change in performance.

I Agree its a fuel pressure issue. Could be a clogged filter or a bad pump. Pump strainer could be clogged in the tank. Check for leaks in the fuel system.
