I've been writing about the issues I've been having with a rebuilt tranny.Done by Aamco transmisions in Fridley,Mn.It was shifting hard sporatically so I took it to Aamco.Without doing any testing that I knew of they said my tranny needed rebuilt at a cost of $3000,00.After the rebuild it still shifted hard.After two years of taking it back and forth it's fixed.They replaced the tranny solinoid pack,the computer,rear end speed sencor.After numerous other tests they put in a different speedometer.That was the problem.The speedo was sending some bad info to the computer ,which caused the shifting issue.Pretty damn expensive speedo!!!!I feel they should have done all this testing before they screwed me on the rebuilt tranny. Live and learn.I'll never trust an Aamco again.
