Default 1994 5.0 swap with a 1992 5.0

I have a 1994 F150 with a 5.0 efi that has grenaded. I found a 1992 5.0 efi online and was wondering what issues may come up during the swap. I've read some things about firing order issues, etc. If I get the 1992 motor, will it be as simple as just making the swap, or do I need to switch some components from the 94 onto the 92? Any help any of you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

If they both came out of trucks the firing order will be different. The 94 is HO - 92 F series is not.
Firing order is determined by the camshaft - not simple to change. You can rewire your harness to make it work with the old style cam - also a bit of work and lots of research.
If the 92 motor is out of a car like a mustang, it may well have the HO firing order - but the cam will be set up to produce lots of high end power and very little low end torque.
Truck cams are not so much about screaming down the straightaway as getting a big heavy truck rolling off the line - low end torque.
