Default 1993 Bronco shifts at ~3000rpm at WOT

I was wondering if anyone could provide some insight related the issue I am having with my transmission.
The transmission shifts up at around 3000 rpm when at wide open throttle. It will generally not shift down when you go to wide open throttle.
I can get it to 4000rpm+ shifting it manually. It seems to operate fine other than not being able to get past 3000rpm.
Not sure where to start looking. Electrical/control, solenoids, linkage???
Thank you

No one has responded so I'll give it a shot. I had similar problems on a Ford ranger. Ended up being a clogged catalytic converter just restricting the exhaust so much that it felt like a rev limiter. Where are you located? I'm in Iowa and there is no emission control so I took off the cat and cleared all the stuff out with a crowbar and problem fixed. Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply!! It will rev past 3k fine if you shift manually. It runs good. Just wont rev out in drive. Looking like solenoid pack. I will post up after I get the parts in.

Thanks again!

Oh I missed that when reading before. Yeah probably not clogged cat. Yeah a solenoid somewhere makes sense
