I replaced my oil dipstick tube on my truck with a $10 universal dipstick tube from autozone and I got the tube in finally but I hadn't slept for 3 days when i done it and I turned tube turned a little bit and the bracket wont reach to support the dipstick tube. The tube is short maybe a 14" long dipstick tube but will it be ok to drive my truck without the support bracket on the dipstick tube?
