Most of them came with the M5OD R-2. Basically a mazda trans - the R2 is the heavier version

UPDATE:

I installed a new shift fork assembly that I bought from www.ZBAGS.com. They were insanely helpful, and the product had updates above & beyond OE parts. Freeze plugs instead of rubber inserts, nice new shifter shims, cups, etc., and overall a well prepared part. My only concern was that it didn't come with the actual gasket.

Once installed, it was very tight, and shifted great! Now I've discovered I have a transfer case issue....

(I bought this truck without being able to drive it first)

Hey all,

Just wanted to let everyone know that I switched out the forks for the shifting assembly and it worked like a charm. Thank you Sean.
