Default 1989 f150 5.8 mass air flow swap help

hey guys and gals, i just got a great deal on a 351w engine that has a spun rod bearing that needs rebuilt its a 1996 roller block i got for $125. so my question is i really want to put a pretty big cam in my truck therefore i either want to change it from efi to carb or speed density to mass air flow. witch would be easiest and cheapest ? i have a c6 transmission so i don't think i should have to worry about a computer right? my truck that the engine is going in is a 1989 speed density thanks for any help.

Speed density will work with a 351 but not with a big cam.
Mass air flow is possible but not cheap unless you become really familiar with the electronics and even the you will probably be buying some expensive pieces.
Carb and manifold and the rest for a 351 won't be cheap either though.
So easy and / or cheap. Probably not. Possible ? Yes.
