Default 1988 Manual transmission leak

Got a 88 with a 5 speed. It started leaking transmission fluid. Found the plugs on the shifter tower leaking. I replaced to rubber plugs with freeze plugs 6 months ago. Hasnt leaked a drop until today. Took it on about a 1 hour ride. Got back home and the transmission is leaking badly again. Since I fixed the leak I only put about 1000 miles on it. Big difference is today I was running about 75 mph. Any guess as to where the leak is it and why it would start all of a sudden like this?

Update - Found the leak. One of the shifter rail plugs came out. What would cause the plug to come out like that?

I used a sealant around the freeze plugs. Cant think of the name right now but its was I use to install all freeze plugs and never had on come out before.
