1987 F150 4.9 TPS is noit recognized by OBDI test
I have a 1987 F150 4.9, I got it after it overheated, I pulled the head, resurfaced it, new gasket, A new Thermostat housing fixed the leak, But it has a slight miss, won't pass smog. OBDI code always references CYl 6, and during the KOER, the test does not know that I quickly did a full throttle test (User error!).
I get the same with a new TPS. Also swapped Injectors 3 and 6, and Plugs, new wires, cap, rotor, the wires for the TPS and Injector 6 have good continuity to the Harness at the ECM.
